I tailor my teaching style to suit your needs and ambitions, whilst also supporting you to being the best you can be in your musical making. I am a professional piano teacher with over 12 years of experience and have a Bachelor of Music Degree with First Class Honours. I am classically trained to Grade 8 level and I am also extremely competent in playing many other popular music styles. I teach both reading music (including preparing for graded classical ABRSM piano and theory exams) and contemporary styles which lend more to playing by ear including jazz, pop and gospel. I teach all ages and abilities, offering an unbiased approach to music learning which is fully supportive of the needs of the student.

My lessons are not just suited to pianists and keyboard players but to anyone interested in furthering their musical understanding in general irrespective of whether you play a musical instrument or not. I started playing the piano at the age of 8 and have continued to develop a strong love for music as a pianist and keyboard player, teacher, producer/composer, arranger and musical director. My additional experience as a bass guitarist, singer and drummer, in addition to having a firm knowledge of other band instruments, has greatly helped my musical career to excel. Punctuality, commitment, adaptability and drive are key aspects of my attitude of excellence. I am an active performer, playing at various corporate events, weddings, concerts, festivals and recording sessions. I have worked with a host of leading and influential musicians including:  Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Mike Phillips (Stevie Wonder), YolanDa Brown, Joss Stone, Mica Paris, Lemar, Julian Marley, James Brown II, Matt Cardle, Femi Temowo, London Community Gospel Choir, Krystle Harper. 

Presently, teaching online is my preferred platform to deliver my music lessons. My aim is that all my students develop a strong sense of self sufficiency very quickly and teaching online is a great platform for this.
